During this time, we’ll discuss your needs, explore the best options for your stay, and ensure everything is perfectly tailored to your experience. After our consultation, we’ll finalize your booking and get you ready for an unforgettable retreat in Costa Rica.

Daily Activities 

• We have curated daily activities such as hikes, beach tours, waterfall excursions, and local family dinner’s to immerse you in the culture and natural beauty of Costa Rica. Please note that while many activities are included, some excursions may require additional payment.

Yes, we accommodate various dietary preferences. We offer fresh, locally sourced ingredients for smoothies, juices, and meals. While guests are responsible for their own alcohol, we can provide homemade juices and smoothies for mixing.

We offer daily activities such as guided hikes, beach tours, waterfall excursions, and local family dinners. Many of these activities are included in your package; however, some, like ATV rentals, horseback riding, scuba diving, and surf classes, may require additional payment.

We provide complimentary transportation to and from Cobano Airport. Additionally, a truck and a van that accommodates up to 4 guests each is available for local travel, driven by our English-speaking tour guide. This service ensures easy access to local attractions and activities. We highly recommend renting at least 1 quad per group during your stay as this offers a fun and suitable way to go on private adventures. 

Yes, all houses at Costa Casual Retreats are equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing you to stay connected during your stay. However, we encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of Costa Rica as much as possible.

To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is refundable if you cancel 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. The remaining balance is due 2 days prior to arrival.

Absolutely! We are happy to assist with any special requests or additional services, such as private chefs, special dietary needs, massage therapists, or unique excursions. Please contact us in advance to discuss your needs.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at Costa Casual Retreats to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, as well as to preserve the natural environment of the area.

The easiest way to reach Costa Casual Retreats is by flying into San Jose Airport (SJO) and then taking a domestic flight to Cobano Airport. We will arrange transportation from Cobano Airport to our retreat, making your journey as smooth as possible. Additionally, guests can fly into SJO then hire a taxi to take them to the Punterenas Ferry. From there, the Ferry takes you to the Nicoya Peninsula, where we will provide ground transportation to the properties. Although this method is an exciting adventure, we do not recommend this for less seasoned travelers.
